Security Enhanced Advanced Information Technology Services
(AITS) Reference Architecture
SPARTA ISSO is part of a team that has been selected to serve as the
system architect and integrator for the DARPA information Systems Office
Information Assurance (IA) program. The IA program is a new initiative
to improve information assurance for advanced technology programs
through technology transfer and research and development. This effort is
focused on integration and development of a security enhanced reference
architecture that will be used as the basis for DISA's Defense
Information Infrastructure and for various DARPA programs, including
JFACC (see next item).
Joint Forces Air Component Commander (JFACC)
SPARTA ISSO is providing security engineering support to the JFACC
program. SPARTA ISSO is performing analysis and documentation of
security issues and requirements to enable an assessment of the impact
of using new security technologies. This analysis includes an assessment
of how AITS RA security services will meet JFACC needs.
